After spending hours shopping in Central London, we ended up in Soho at about 6/7pm on a Saturday night. If you know anything about Central London, you’d be insane to try and find somewhere to eat without a reservation. Luckily we stumbled across Banana Tree. I’ve heard of the place before but never thought much more of it, so we though’t we’d give it a try.

BananaTree is an Authentic Indochinese restaurant with 9 locations; 6 in London (Angel, Battersea, Maida Vale, Soho, Westbourne Grove and Westhampstead) with the remaining 3 elsewhere in England (Chelmsford, Oxford, Milton Keynes).

The waiting time was roughly 30 minutes, which is a bit longer than I’d hoped. I didn’t take pictures of the cocktail we had; and to be honest they tasted very watered down and weren’t value for money.

Let’s get down to the most important part, the real reason why you’re here…The Food!

The food was amazing, and the portions! We had to get some doggie bags for the road.

I think BananaTree would be a good location for any stage of the Dating Lifecycle. It could also be nice for celebratory dinners, like birthdays. Overall it’s a great casual place, with fitting prices for the quality of food.

Happy Dating! 🙂
