This year, 2 of my closest friends and I have decided to make the year about being adventurous and trying out new things.

For the sake of the blog, we’ll call them Amy and May. Since Amy has never attended a comedy show before we decided to pop the cherry and take her to Hideaway. Amy wasn’t so keen at first, but by the end of the night she was rearing to go again next month. I have to give this one to the combination of great food and even better company.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to record much from the show. I did catch a glimpse of the venue and amazing food we had that night though.

The video is a bit dim as I wanted to capture the essence of the atmosphere for you guys.

Who knew Streatham had such a cute little Hideaway? The entrance for the venue is a little awkward as you have to go down a side alley in order to get in, but you won’t miss it with the neon orange signs. The night of our comedy show there was a also a live band, so something for any of you that aren’t big fans of comedy.

Now, let’s get down to the important stuff…

The end of last year saw the fall of Sex on the Beach, and rise of Pornstar Martini as my new favourite (if you couldn’t already tell).

Between us we ordered:

Okay,  I don’t know if you noticed that I put 1 dessert with the other mains. This was VERY intentional. What I am about to share with you, I don’t even know if I should. However, I decided to make this platform for exactly the purpose of providing you with such information.

The dessert below is one of, if not THE best, desserts I have ever had in life! This ice cream was no joke…

Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce and Caramel Honeycomb Ice Cream

Not sure if I have told you guys before , but I’m not a huge fan of Ice-cream. When I tell you I lapped it up… Lord!

The comedy show was great, but that dessert right there was the absolute highlight of my night, my month even! I can be a very dramatic person but once you have tasted this, you will very much understand why!

Overall, I think this comedy spot is perfect for all aspects of the Dating Lifecycle. It has the added benefit of being a great spot for a casual night out. So drop by and let me know what you think!

Happy Dating! 🙂
